Each year, BDL staff members work with a diverse cross section of New York City schools to build their capacity to create and develop a competitive Speech & Debate team.

BDL hosts weekly online classes and tournaments - all students welcome, no prior experience required. Check out our schedule for next year below to find out more and get involved!

Each summer, BDL welcomes students in grades 6-12 to join us for a two-week, in-person summer camp. Partner schools receive scholarships to ensure intensive training before the competition season.
